The Centro de Intepretación de Andorra Románica (Interpretation Centre of Romanesque Andorra) is located in the beautiful village of Pal, in the parish of La Massana, Andorra.
The Interpretation Centre of Romanesque Andorra shows the main features of the Romanesque artistic style, and its evolution in the Principality of Andorra, by means of an audiovisual montage and an interesting permanent exhibition.
Both in the exhibition and in the audiovisual montage, the Romanesque art is shown as it was and continues to be for the Andorran valleys, since it explains from the parts of a Romanesque church to its paintings, without overlooking other great artistic displays.
Among its artistic works, it is worth noting the headstone of an arch with decorations of mural paintings, that dates from the 12th century and comes from Sant Esteve (Andorra la Vella); a polychrome wood pricked crucifix of the 13th century from Sant Serni de Nagol; and the lateral transoms of the polychrome wood altar slab, that date from the 13th century, and come from Sant Romá de Vila.
