The Iglesia de Sant Pere Màrtir Church was built in 1956 by the architect Josep Danés, in the Carlemany Avenue of the parish of Escaldes-Engordany.
This Neo-Romanesque church has a bell tower built of carved granite. On its facade you’ll contemplate several serigraphs of the Bienaventuranzas of the sculpture Sergi Mas; while under its arcade you’ll find some pottery pieces by the same author. You’ll also find an Immaculate and the Pieta, both by sculptor Josep Viladomat.

From the square you’ll contemplate the sculpture of the puntaire, by Josep Viladomat. It is possible to find more works from this author in the Escaldes-Engordany Art Centre.
After visiting the Iglesia de Sant Pere Màrtir Church it is recommendable to stroll down the old area of Escaldes-Engordany, as on it you’ll find great examples of traditional architecture from Andorra.
