The Iglesia de Sant Serni de Canillo Church was built between 1758 and 1768, under the mandate of the masters of houses Francesc Porta and Pere Morales, both from the Seu d’Urgell.
In the interior, you can see a Gothic crucifix on polychrome wood of the late 14th century, and a retable dedicated to Sant Cerni, bishop of Tolosa in the 3rd century.
Outside, in the entry to the temple, there is a baptismal font reconverted into a fountain. The Iglesia de Sant Serni de Canillo Church is part of the historical centre of Canillo. It is recommended to stroll through the area, since you can find there the most amazing houses in the village.
