The historical complex of Les Bons is located in the village of Les Bons in Encamp, Andorra. This complex is constituted by the Iglesia de Sant Romà Church (which dates from the 12th century), a water tank with an irrigation system carved in the stone, a fortified house with civil architecture from the 17th century and two dovecotes.

The Iglesia de Sant Romà Church of Les Bons is dedicated to San Román. It has Romanesque origins and is formed by an unique rectangular nave and a semicircular Lombard style apse. This church has received various modifications along the time. One of the most relevant ones is the construction of the colonnade in the 16th century.

In the interior, you will find the stone slab on the altar, as well as several reproductions of the Romanesque paintings of the Master of Santa Coloma, from the 12th century, which symbolize the apocalyptic vision of San Juan, and various paintings of Gothic tradition with 16th century iconography.

When visiting this historical complex, it is quite recommendable to visit the village Les Bons. Walking along its streets and alleys will let you see the way in which the village has succeeded in keeping the charm of the antique buildings. Les Bons counts on a plan for the protection of the traditional architecture from 1997.
